If you are reporting a problem with a specific reel, include the link — it makes the difference between a guess and a fix.

Common questions

A reel did not produce any pins

Nosh only pins places you can physically visit. Meal-kit ads, recipe videos and product promos are rejected on purpose — you will see “Not a place” with a reason. If a genuine restaurant reel came back empty, send us the link.

A pin landed in the wrong spot

Open the place, tap the location, and drag the pin to the right position. Chains with many branches are the usual culprit. If a place could not be located at all it stays in your list marked as unpinned, and you can place it by hand.

Analysis is stuck on “Analyzing”

Most reels finish in about thirty seconds. If one has been going for several minutes, pull to refresh the activity list. If it is still stuck, email us the link.

An invite link opened Safari instead of the app

This happens when the app was installed before invite links were set up. Delete Nosh, reinstall it, then tap the link again.

I want to rename a map

Open the map switcher, tap the “…” next to any map, then the pencil beside its name. Any member of a shared map can rename it, and everyone sees the new name.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → Delete account. It permanently removes your account, your maps and every place you saved. It cannot be undone.

Reporting content or a user

Reporting is built into the app. Open the … menu on a map or on any member of a shared map, or tap Report this place at the bottom of a place. Pick a reason, add a note if you want, and send.

You can also block someone from that same menu. Blocking hides the places they add and their name in member lists, for you only — they aren't told, and they stay in the map, since only the owner decides membership. Undo it any time under Profile → Blocked.

Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours, and accounts that violate the Terms are removed. You can also email dirghvshah@gmail.com directly.

Privacy and data

What we collect and who processes it is set out in the Privacy Policy. To request a copy of your data or have it deleted, email us — or delete your account from Profile → Delete account, which removes everything immediately.
